Aluminium sulfate (alum) is a workhorse coagulant used in water treatment plants, textile mordanting and paper sizing. Both ferric (industrial) and non-ferric (potable) grades supplied by Mauryansh Impex.

Frequently asked questions
Non-ferric (low iron) is mandatory for potable water and paper. Ferric grade is acceptable for industrial effluent where iron staining is not a concern.
